Placement Cell  
  Desh Bhagat Institute of Management & Computer Sciences has excellent active training & Placement Cell. The Placement Cell at DBIMCS looks after the placement requirements of students on a full-time and continuous basis. Staffed by senior professionals and placement executives, the Placement Cell initiates and manages the summer internship program and final placement activities. The Placement Cell also evaluates student-performance levels and ensures relevant preparation for their corporate placements. The cell has organised 8 Job Fairs in the recent past attended by thousand of students from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and other states. The cell is actively engaged in industry-academia interface through workshops and seminars. Organised HR Meets at regular intervals to have first hand information of the problems faced by industry, to evolve solutions and to change curriculum as per the needs of the industry and to make the students capable of competing with the challenges of globalisation, privatisation and liberalisation. Students of Desh Bhagat Institute of Management & Computer Sciences have been placed in national and international companies of repute.

"VISIONZZ-1" THE JOB FEST ON 19th & 20th FEBRUARY, 2010 AT DESH BHAGAT GROUP OF INSTITUTES, MANDI GOBINDGARH, PUNJAB
 
"Visionzz-1"-Job Fest was organized at Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes, Mandi Gobindgarh, Campus. Students of MBA, MCA, B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Sc.-IT, M.Sc.-IT, B.H.M etc. participated. In this Leading Companies from India like Altruist India, Federal Mogul Bearing India Ltd, Tata Teleservices Ltd, Red Alkemi, Sigma Freudenberg NOK, Bharti Axa, New Swan Enterprises, Reliance Capital Services, Café Coffee Day, Central Tool Room, Highway Industries Limited, Ind-Sigma Infotech(P) Ltd, Mahle Filter Systems India Ltd., Sixth Sense Solutions(P) Ltd, Gabriel India Limited, Henkel Teroson India Limited took participation. As many as 2500 Students from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan etc participated in this Job Fest.
 
         
                 
                 
           
                 
The companies shortlisted a number of students after rigorous rounds of their selection process that included Aptitude Tests, Group Discussions, Technical & HR Rounds etc. Later, Dr.Zora Singh, Chairman, Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes congratulated the shortlisted students & shared his vision to organize these kinds of Mega Job Fests in near future.   "VISIONZZ-2" JOB FEST ON 27th MARCH, 2010 AT DESH BHAGAT GROUP OF INSTITUTES, MANDI GOBINDGARH, PUNJAB  
     
  "Visionzz-2" Job Fest was organized at Desh Bhagat Institute of Management & Computer Sciences, in which over 500 Students of B.Sc., BCA, B.Com, BBM, MBA, Nursing(GNM) students from Punjab, Haryana & Delhi participated.  
     
 
         
                 
 
  Dr.Zora Singh, Chairman, Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes inaugurated Visionzz-2 Job Fest. Prof. Shalini Gupta, Director General, Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes welcomed Officials from Wipro Ltd, Eureka Forbes Limited, KMG Infotech, Bebo Technical Education Services(BTES), Nextgen Venturi etc. & in her message to students said that Global Market is opening up with new opportunities & students should equip themselves with required skills in order to get the suitable Jobs.  
     
   
  The Companies selected various students through their processes that included Online Aptitude & Logical Reasoning Tests, Group Discussions & Personal Interviews.
