Introduction

Desh Bhagat Institute of Competitive Studies is a part of Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes. Our Group is running 13 different professional colleges in Punjab. We have been serving the nation for the last 9 years by educating students who are the future of our country. We not only guide but also provide our students different platforms for their careers. We show our students the way to such diverse educational fields as that of Engineering, Medical, Management Computers etc. and prepare them to get admission in professional colleges for the above courses. We have very modern and sophisticated infrastructure and facilities for our students. There are three essential parts of education namely knowledge, skills, and values. We, at Desh Bhagat Institute of Competitive Studies, give the best to our students by combining these essentials of education. We have designed highly competitive and up to date course material for the students. For each chapter we provide synopsis, assignments, shortcuts and test series for our students as well as for others in weekend test batches.

We have highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty in our institute. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. and have over twenty years of rich experience not only in India but also in other countries like Zambia, Nigeria etc.

Scholarships and Concessions:

We give scholarships to the deserving candidates by conducting Shri Lal Singh Ji Memorial scholarship test. This test is conducted every year in the month of April. We give concessions and cash prizes to the winners in the test as detailed below:

We also offer Scholarships and concessions for those students who have strong academic background but have financial constraints.

Extra Curricular Activities

As we are a part of Charitable and Non Profit making Organization, we organize or take part in the following activities:

• The institute arrange Guest Lectures by well-known and famous authors, Lecturers, and others famous personalities to guide and acquaint the students with new methods and techniques.
• We not only take part but also Conduct various Seminars at various places and institutes.
• We also organize various competitions like Debates, Elocution, Drawing and Painting, singing and dancing competitions etc. at our institute.
• We also arrange sports meets and outdoor activities like picnics and educational tours etc.
